Eversource Responding to Damage and Power Outages as Nor'easter Moves Through Connecticut

Hundreds of Eversource line and tree crews are working to restore power as the nor’easter moves through Connecticut delivering heavy snow, rain and wind causing damage and power outages primarily in Litchfield County. Crews are responding to emergency situations and blocked roads while assessing damage and restoring power to customers impacted by the storm when weather conditions safely allow. Lineworkers from as far away as Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee and Texas are working alongside Eversource crews and as of 4 p.m. have restored power to more than 12,800 customers since the storm began. Approximately 14,000 Eversource customers in Connecticut remain without power as a result of the severe storm.
