You can start with our Online Home Energy Assessment, which will provide you with personalized tips and recommendations to lower energy use right from the comfort of your home.
Or, you can jump right to requesting a call or visit with an Energy Specialist.
A Home Energy Assessment can help you and your landlord discover opportunities for greater energy efficiency in your residence. Plus, you may receive efficient products at no-cost.
After your assessment, your Energy Specialist will work with your landlord on pursuing larger improvements to the building such as insulation and air sealing that can help lower energy costs and improve your overall comfort. Possible incentives on measures include:
This offer is valid for renter-occupied units in buildings with 2-4 units only. Single family rentals and owner-occupied units do not qualify.
During a Home Energy Assessment, an Energy Specialist will visit your property, evaluate its energy use, and install no-cost energy saving improvements such as LED lightbulbs, faucet aerators and advanced power strips.
Additionally, you'll receive information about other rebates and incentives you may qualify for, such as no-cost sealing of air leaks to reduce drafts, discounted insulation improvements, and rebates on energy efficient HVAC equipment and appliances. Buildings with five or more units may qualify for additional upgrades.
If 50% or more of your tenants qualify as low-income you may be eligible for additional rebates and incentives.
