• Their trucks and ID badges will clearly state they are an Eversource Contractor. Do not hesitate to ask for identification.
  
  
• Our technicians will never ask for money or any personal information when changing your meter. You will not have to pay anything at the time of installation. All meter-related costs are included as part of your monthly bill.
• We will communicate with you through letters and emails prior to starting work in your neighborhood, so you will have an idea of the timeframe someone should be coming to your home.
• You can always contact us with any safety and scam questions, as well as report suspicious activity.
