BOSTON (April 27, 2022) – In celebration of Arbor Day later this week, Eversource is partnering with communities and organizations across the state to support local tree planting events and raise awareness about planting the right tree in the right place

“Trees and energy are essential to life in all of our communities, and we take very seriously our responsibility to ensure safe, reliable service for our customers while promoting sustainability and being environmental stewards,” said Eversource Vegetation Management Manager Paul Sellers. “We’re proud to partner with municipalities, schools and others across the commonwealth on programs year-round to ‘plan before you plant’ and select the right tree for the right place as part of those efforts. Arbor Day in Massachusetts always offers many examples of how we work together every day to make a positive impact on the environment, and we’re excited to join our community partners in celebrating this year.”
