Eversource updates customers with local restoration estimates as crews make significant progress restoring power
Feb 25, 2026
Eversource’s army of more than 2,000 crews and resources, including hundreds of out-of-state utility workers, continue to make strong progress restoring power to customers across Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and other hard-hit areas in eastern Massachusetts following the widespread damage caused by this week’s historic blizzard. As of 3:15 p.m., the energy company has restored power to more than 295,000 customers thanks to the around-the-clock work of its massive contingent of crews and the use of automated technology. As crews continue to work non-stop to assess damage to the electric system and make repairs, approximately 135,100 customers remain without power.
