Employee giving
Our employees volunteer, serve on boards and contribute financially to organizations that are important to them. Our employee giving programs support the time, talent and philanthropy of current and retired employees.
In 2024, more than $749,000 in matching contributions were made to charities on behalf of our employees and retirees.
- Matching Grants – encourages employee-directed giving by matching employee donations to eligible organizations
- Dollars For Doers – provides financial support to a community group where an employee actively and regularly volunteers on their own time
- Pledge Partners – matches gifts raised by employees for nonprofit organizations (e.g., walk-a-thons and races)
When the Eversource Foundation, our employees and retirees come together, they have an incredible impact. Together we contributed $2.7 million to the United Way campaign in 2024, supporting hundreds of nonprofit organizations that assist our community.
