Energy Profiler Online (EPO)

Energy Profiler Online™ (EPO) is a web-based service provided by Eversource Energy in conjunction with Schneider Electric.

The program allows access to meter usage data 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Further, EPO is easy to use and requires minimal user training or programming.

EPO is considered one of the best products in the industry for distilling and analyzing volumes of raw customer interval meter data into meaningful information in a secure, password-protected environment.

EPO provides various methods of data display and analysis tools – showing historical usage. EPO allows you to:

  • Monitor usage in order to tailor business operations to take advantage of off-peak energy rates;
  • Analyze data to allow you to shop for competitive energy pricing;
  • Compare data from multiple sites;
  • Download data for offline analysis in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Lotus 1-2-3 or other programs.

kVA Conversion Tool

The accepted industry practice is to store and display interval data in terms of kW, kVAR, and Power Factor. This standard format is supported by Schneider Electric and is consistent for customers, energy suppliers and brokers, and utility personnel across the country and worldwide. By adopting this interval data format, Eversource and our customers will be aligned with the accepted industry practice.

We recognize some of our New Hampshire customers are accustomed to working with kVA as a displayed interval data field within EPO. To assist these customers, we’ve developed a simple plug and play conversion tool to calculate kVA based on kW and kVAR interval data from EPO. This Microsoft Excel spreadsheet has a built in function to calculate kVA. kW and kVAR interval data can be pasted into the corresponding columns within the spreadsheet and the corresponding kVA and power factor data points will be calculated and displayed to the right of each interval data set. Additionally, we have provided formulas and a power conversion graphic for quick reference.
