Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon
An event with more than 25 years of promoting health, wellness and sustainability
2024 Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon
Join us on Saturday, October 19 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch in Hartford for the event that has raised more than $8 million to support community and philanthropic initiatives across the region.
We're proud to be the title sponsor of the Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon in partnership with the Hartford Marathon Foundation to support non-profit organizations and communities across Connecticut.
We work with the Hartford Marathon Foundation to help create a race that is not only fun and family-friendly—live music, good food, swag and a beer garden—but also sustainable.
The Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon has been nationally recognized for its comprehensive waste-reduction and sustainability efforts while putting on a marathon, half marathon, team 26.2 relay, charity 5K and FitKids event.
Did You Know: The Hartford Marathon brings more than $13 million in economic support to the region each year
This annual event has raised more than $8.5 million for charities, helping a premiere charity, a gold charity and 19 silver charities this year.
Premiere charity:
For All Ages - Connecticut’s only nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting the generations and inspiring action to end loneliness, reduce ageism, and improve mental, physical, and social health. Our innovative programs and events provide positive, collaborative experiences between the generations that showcase the wisdom and vibrancy of older adults while countering loneliness.
Gold charity:
Achilles International, Connecticut Chapter - Achilles International is a global organization operating in 18 countries including the US, transforming the lives of people with disabilities through athletic programs and social connection. Across Connecticut, Achilles breaks down barriers to race start lines and empowers the disability community to get active, set goals, and accomplish them as they cross the finish line. Our athletes walk, run, crutch, crank or roll in parks and races around our state and the region while bringing hope, inspiration and the joys of achievement to all.
