Electric Supply Rates

The supply portion of your bill is the cost of electricity you use. These rates are based on the current market price of electricity.

How Frequently Supply Rates Change

Fixed supply rates change twice each year—on February 1 and August 1—as demand for energy increases or decreases.

Final Basic Service rates are subject to change and await final regulatory approval.

Current Supply Rates

These rates are listed in cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh). A kWh is a measure of energy use over time.

Fixed Rate

Upon opening your account, all residential customers are placed on a fixed rate. You may choose the monthly variable rate, however you can only do this once.

The rates for each period are based on our contract with the Basic Service provider.

How We Calculate the Supply Rate

We measure your usage using kilowatt hours (kWh). This is a measure of energy use over time. We then multiply your usage (kWh) by the supply rate to determine your supply charge.
