Good Neighbor Energy Fund
You can help Massachusetts residents who are struggling to pay their energy bills by participating in the Add-A-Dollar program to benefit the Massachusetts Good Neighbor Energy Fund.
Many of these residents in need don't qualify for other federally funded assistance programs, but may be experiencing a temporary crisis which has left them without enough money to pay their utility bill. Every dollar you contribute is tax deductible and will directly benefit an individual in need.
When you enroll in the program and add a donation to your bill, we will automatically add this contribution to your bill each month and you can remove it whenever you choose.

To contribute, please complete the Add-A-Dollar pledge form (PDF) and return by mail. If you wish to donate more than a dollar, up to $10, to the Good Neighbor Energy Fund, please call us at 877-659-6326. You can also make a one-time donation by simply including a separate check with your monthly payment, made payable to the Good Neighbor Energy Fund.
To be eligible to receive energy assistance through The Massachusetts Good Neighbor Energy Fund you must be a Massachusetts resident who, because of temporary financial difficulty, cannot meet a month's energy expense and is not eligible for state or federal energy assistance.
Income for either the prior twelve months or the past month (times 12 months for a total annual figure) must fall between 60 and 80 percent of the estimated state median income levels.
