Information for Current SCEF Subscribers

How was I selected to participate in SCEF program?

Most customers that are selected for a SCEF subscription are automatically enrolled, meaning you could receive a SCEF subscription even if you didn’t apply to the program. Eversource identifies eligible customers and selects them for enrollment in the program through a modified lottery.

How was my bill credit calculated?

Your bill credit is calculated by multiplying your average monthly electric usage by $0.025/kWh.  Your credit is calculated once and stays the same for the entire length of your participation in the program.

How is my bill credit applied to my Eversource bill?

The credit is applied to any past due balances on your electric account and then to any current charges you owe. If you don’t have a past due balance, the credit will reduce your current bill amount.

How to can I Opt-Out of the program?

You can opt-out of the program by emailing SCEF_Enrollment@eversource.com or calling 844-726-7573 .

What should I do if I am moving?

If you’re moving within Eversource’s Connecticut service territory, your can take your SCEF subscription with you. Just email SCEF_Enrollment@eversource.com or call 844-726-7573 to let us know where you are moving to.

How can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time, without penalty, by emailing SCEF_Enrollment@eversource.com or calling 844-726-7573.
