Cross Road Substation Upgrade

Why Are We Doing This Project?

We determined after an extensive study that integration of additional clean energy into the electrical grid in the Dartmouth area requires upgrades to our Cross Road Substation. This project will optimize system stability and improve reliability.

This work is part of a larger initiative focused on electric system enhancements to maintain reliability and enable distributed energy resource (DER) facilities to safely interconnect and operate.
