New Hampshire Home Energy Performance

Whether you own or rent, keep your home comfortable while lowering energy use.

How It Works

Our experts will evaluate your home's energy use, provide customized recommendations for energy-saving upgrades, and connect you to incentives and rebates.

Services, costs and savings

An Eversource approved contractor will conduct an in-home visit to perform a thorough energy assessment for just $100. During this visit they will conduct safety tests, recommend improvements and help you better understand your home's energy use.

To help you make the improvements recommended during your appointment, you may receive equipment rebates and no-cost products totaling up to $6,000, as well as access to 0% on-bill financing so you can save immediately on energy-saving upgrades and in the years to come on your energy bills.

Who qualifies?

If you have not qualified for Home Energy Performance in the past, please note that criteria and offers have changed and we encourage you to try again. You may also qualify for a virtual audit, which includes delivery of energy-saving products for you to install.

I'm a Homeowner

With Home Energy Performance, an energy expert will visit your home, evaluate your current energy use, and provide a personalized report with solutions to help you lower energy use, such as improved insulation, air sealing, and incentives for upgrades to energy-efficient appliances and equipment.

There is a $100 fee for the in-home assessment, but if you decide to install any of the recommended energy efficiency upgrades, the fee is deducted from the cost of the project. You may also be eligible for up to $6,000 in incentives to offset the cost of upgrades such as insulation, heating and cooling equipment and water heaters.

If you are a lower- or fixed-income customer, you may qualify for additional services and incentives through the Home Energy Assistance program.
