Our Clean and Renewable Energy Mix

We're working hard to bring clean, reliable energy to residents and businesses across New Hampshire.

Where New Hampshire's Energy Comes From

A pie chart showing 22.5% renewable energy, and 77.5% non-renewable energy.

In 2022, Eversource will procure Renewable Energy and Non-Carbon Clean Energy equal to 22.5% of our customer usage.

These sources contribute to New Hampshire's clean energy goals by reducing the need for fossil fuel-based energy, or reducing demand during seasonal peak periods

What is renewable energy?

Renewable energy is generated by sources like solar photovoltaic, solar thermal electric, wind energy, small hydropower, landfill methane, geothermal energy, biomass fuel or waste-to-energy facilities.

What is non-carbon clean energy?

Non-carbon clean energy is generated by sources like combined heat and power, nuclear, demand response programs and energy storage systems.
