Storm Response During the COVID-19 Pandemic

On Monday, April 13, a damaging windstorm knocked out power for many of our customers. We know this was a significant disruption when so many are working, studying, and sheltering at home during the pandemic.

With service now restored across our states, we wanted to thank you—for your patience, cooperation and support—and also thank our crews for working non-stop to make repairs while practicing social distancing and wearing additional protective equipment.

Storm impact by the numbers

  • 241,000+ customers without power
  • 170 broken poles
  • 1,300+ fire and police calls
