Monthly Payment Plans

These programs are open to most Eversource residential customers.

Payment Plan

Helpful if you missed payments and have a past due balance. Pay off your balance over a period of time  to help prevent service interruption.

Budget Billing

Want to manage your budget and tame seasonal spikes on your energy bill? Set up budget billing and pay a fixed rate each month based on your average annual usage.

Income-Based Assistance Programs

Designed for lower-income customers, you may be able to participate in these programs if you meet income and eligibility guidelines as set by your state.

Discount Rate

Receive a discount on your monthly energy bill if you qualify. View details and apply.  

Energy Efficiency

Get free or reduced priced weatherization and energy efficiency measures for renters and homeowners.

Fuel Assistance

If your gross income is at or below 60 percent of the state median income, you may qualify for assistance toward your utility bills.

Good Neighbor Energy Fund

If you don't qualify for federally funded assistance programs, you can apply for the Salvation Army's Good Neighbor Energy Fund.

Massachusetts Emergency Rental Assistance Program

If you're a renter earning 80% or less of the median income in your area, you may be eligible to receive electric or gas utility assistance from the Massachusetts Emergency Rental Assistance Program.
