Energy Efficiency for Lower Income Customers

The Home Energy Solutions - Income-Eligible (HES-IE) program provides valuable weatherization measures to help renters or homeowners reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient.

The program is a free service for customers who meet income eligibility guidelines.

In addition to the HES weatherization services some households may also qualify for insulation and energy-efficient appliances.

Weatherization services include the installation of energy efficient light bulbs, caulking drafts, cracks and leaks in windows and doors, and installing water-saving faucet aerators and shower heads.

To determine if you are income-eligible, locate your family size on the chart below and the corresponding dollar amount. If your family’s combined Gross Annual Income is this amount or less, you meet the state’s 60 percent income median, and qualify for the service.
